"Thanks to Dr. Fadi for the amazing job he did with my teeth. The implant looks real and feels absolutely amazing. All the staff at the clinic were very friendly and made me feel at home. I had a wonderful experience at German Dental Clinic. Will be going back there next month to remove my wisdom tooth. There's no where else I'd rather go for my dental treatments."

"As an Expat from the USA, I struggled to find a dentist in Dubai that was up to the standards. Dr. Abdolreza Nassouti took such wonderful care of me on an emergency treatment, with follow-up care and the use of state of the art technology; so I continued my general services at the clinic with satisfaction. The clinic and his services were even better than my treatments in the USA that I am sad to leave the UAE and begin another search."

"Dear German Dental & Neuromuscular Clinic,
I will follow you wherever you may go!!
I have been coming in and out of your clinic for God knows how many years now!! And each time is better than the last. I have nothing but sincere praise for the way this elegant clinic is run.
The doctors are so friendly and warm; non materialistic; possess great ethical standards of both their profession and their manners; explain very well the procedure; tolerate the behavior of their patients & hire the most beautiful of staff.
The staff is so friendly as well. They also perform their duties up to the best standard. And they follow up with their patients promptly without delay.
The clinic is always tidy and neat and deserves the envy of both housewives and housekeepers. The coffee is delicious and the utensils that are used are very expensively chosen!!
The bathroom is always clean and the smell is always fragrant!! And you guys, have the nicest toothbrushes I ever used! I always snatch one when I visit.
I can only wish this Clinic and its professional team more prosperity. And to its staff a great health, joy and peace. May you all have the best always."

First Visit

At GDNC, we are committed to offering every patient the best care in the safest possible and most comfortable environment. At your first visit, it is our responsibility, apart from providing the best possible service, to provide you with the information you need to make informed decisions regarding your dental health. A comprehensive examination of your teeth and the gums allow us to assess your dental and oral health condition. As well as revealing significant signs and symptoms of jaw dysfunction, such as headaches, jaw joint pain and noises, ear congestion and tinnitus, dizziness, nonspecific facial pain, thermal sensitivity (hot and cold) and much more. Diagnostic casts (models of your teeth) make it easier to communicate and discuss the problems. Photos taken with a special camera and/or intraoral camera as well as digital radiographs (X-Rays) will help us to look deeper into the tooth structure and the surrounding tissues. In this way, we are able to treat the whole person more than just the teeth. Before starting any treatment, we make sure you understand the procedure and the costs involved.

Tooth Emergencies

S.O.S. - Tooth accident

In case of accidents in the jaw and/or face area, depending on the severity of the injury a dentist, an oral surgeon, a specialist for root canal treatment or a specialist for maxillofacial surgery can take care of the patient immediately. If the tooth loose during the accident, then it should not be put under pressure, such as chewing. On the other hand, if the tooth was knocked-out completely out of its place or out of the mouth, it should be collected immediately and kept in a moist environment (ideally in a tooth emergency box, or in a saline solution, or simply in the mouth. Also, it could be kept in cold long life milk).

On top of the above the tooth should be taken to the dentist as soon as possible. In most cases, after cleaning the tooth, the dentist will try to place it in the mouth. The chances of saving the tooth will depend on how long the tooth was out of the mouth. Please try to keep the fractured parts of the tooth safe. Often, the pieces of the tooth can be fixed back at least as a temporary solution.

Patients with orthodontic appliances

Removable appliances

Pressure areas: If your removable appliance is causing some pressure areas on the gum, this could be related to the changes to the size of the appliance during the expansion phase. The erupting teeth, in some cases make the surrounding bone and gum thicker and this can cause some pressure in the gum area. For immediate relief, you can turn back the screw to release the pressure and subsequently, make an appointment at the clinic to adjust the appliance.

Screw fracture: Make an appointment with us as soon as possible! If the screw is out of its place in the appliance, try to push back the two acrylic parts around the screw towards each other and screw it back slightly to hold until the appliance is repaired.

Fracture of the appliance: If the fracture is small and doesn’t affect the whole fitting, continue wearing it and make an appointment at our clinic. If the appliance is broken completely, don’t wear it, keep both parts and try to make an emergency appointment with us, to have it attended to.

Fixed appliances

Loose palatal expander

In case of fixed palatal expanders during the activation period, it's possible that one side of the expander gets loose from the teeth. In this case, you can try to push back the appliance into its place while trying to get an appointment at our clinic to have it fixed. Please make sure that during this time not to activate the screw.

If this happens during your holidays or if you're out of town, please don’t activate the screw until you get an appointment with us. In case of complete loosening of the appliance, either an Orthodontist or a Dentist must remove it and if possible, wear it without fixing it until you're back in our clinic.

Complications with a multiband appliance (Fixed appliance)

Loose Bracket: In case the bracket is getting loose, you need to contact our clinic to arrange for an urgent appointment. Our team will inform you for an immediate fixing of the bracket if necessary. If in case you are on holiday, the loose bracket can stay attached to the wire if there is no discomfort in the mouth. An end bracket can be removed carefully with the help of small tweezers, a strong nail cutter or a small wire cutter.

Sharp Wire ends: In case you feel the end of a sharp wire, try to bend it with a spoon handle or eraser at the end of a pencil. If this doesn't work, try to use some orthodontic wax at the end of the wire. If that doesn’t help as well, please try to arrange an appointment with the clinic. Another alternative in case orthodontic wax is not available is to use a sugar-free chewing gum, which can be placed at the end of the wire.

Sharp Brackets: Fixing of the brackets especially in the lower front area can cause irritations or burning in the lower lip area, at the beginning of the treatment. In these cases, the brackets could be covered with the orthodontic wax to protect the soft tissue. The same situation can occur with lingual brackets where the tongue is irritated.
